Saturday looks set to be a great day at Lightfoot Green with plenty on offer throughout the day and into the evening.
1st XV vs Leicester Lions – 2.30pm
The 1st XV kick things off at 2.30pm when they host fourth placed Leicester Lions in a National League 2 North fixture. Garth Dew’s men will be looking to get back to winning ways after defeat last time out at Otley. Admission to the game is priced at £10 Adults, £6 Members and Concessions and Under 16’s are free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets do not need to be purchased in advance and can be bought on the gate.
England vs Ireland – 4.50pm
Following the 1st XV game we will be showing the England vs Ireland game at 4.50pm live in the clubhouse. The game will see Eddie Jones coach England for the first time at Twickenham. Hoppers proved to be a great venue for watching live rugby during the World Cup with a unique rugby club atmosphere. The Dooley Suite will be open so there will be plenty of room for everyone to see the match on the big screen.
7pm Happy Hour and Adam Vance
As soon as the final whistle sounds in the England game we will be running a happy hour at the bar. Guinness will be on offer for £3 per pint, Guest Ale for £2.80 and Carlsberg for £2.50. We’re also delighted to be welcoming male vocal performer Adam Vance who will be performing from 7pm with a selection of hits to get the party going.
