The Agricultural Industry has had a tough 2016 with volatile commodity prices while bracing itself for the uncertainty that Brexit will have on the industry, so we felt this was an excellent opportunity to bring existing and potential customers together to confirm the Bank`s ongoing support for the Industry and as importantly enjoy a good meal, drink and a decent game of rugby.

I’m looking forward to welcoming all my guests to Lightfoot Green on Saturday. Having virtually grown up there, I have hundreds of happy memories of the club and I hope my guest’s experience proves to be a “Really Good Day at the Hoppers.”
Rugby is the greatest sport in the world – THAT’S A FACT. The reason for this has nothing to do with a funny shaped ball or charging around a field. It is the people! Quite simply you can go into any rugby club anywhere in the world & very quickly feel welcomed, at home & at ease. Other sports can do this, but not as well as rugby & here at the “Hoppers” you’ll find great people throughout the club – every single one of them only too happy to help make sure you have a great day.
In addition to my customers I’ve invited about 50 other clients & friends this weekend, ranging from engineering & manufacturing companies to accountants, property management, solicitors, business advisors & many other industries.
