The Under 11s completed their Lancashire Minis Festival Cup qualifying matches this weekend following a number of postponements due to the weather.
The Under 11s had to play qualifying games on back to back weekends with must win games at home to Fylde and away to Vale and Fleetwood. Unfortunately they lost a very close game to Fylde 24-28, and this weekend, despite a relatively easy victory over Fleetwood 24-0, they also lost to Vale 21-0.
At the end of the qualifying games, Hoppers finished third in the North Lancs pool to miss out on a finals day place, which this year will be held at Southport on Sunday 6th April.
