Update on RFU new competition structure

The RFU Future Competitions Structure Group has released a recommendation paper on the adult male competitions structure (English Club Championship Level 3 and below) for implementation in the 2021/22 season. Details can be found at the following link.

The plan confirms the new Competition structure which is essentially the same as their original proposed league structure, but it does take on board elements of our cup competition proposals. There will not be a further formal consultation process before the plan is put to the council in October, although individuals are invited to respond to the questionnaire which accompanies the plan.

Despite the lack of a formal consultation process, we believe it is appropriate to respond as a club and so the linked letter below, shared for information has been generated and sent to the RFU. Further updates will be issued in due course.
