Next weekend, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April, sees Preston Grasshoppers Mini Junior Festival taking place.
For the first time the festival is scheduled across two days and is set to be the biggest the club has ever hosted. 130 teams with over 1,700 players will take part in the festival and this of course requires a serious logistical effort to run smoothly. There are currently 64 volunteers from the Mini/Junior section signed up to help but we need another 20 to help with car parking, programme selling and general stewarding. Both days need help from 8.00-11.00 and volunteers will be provided with a full English breakfast.
