New cask ale debuts at Hopfest 2017

Date: 14 June 2017

The 15th June is Britain’s first annual national beer day, so what better time to bring you the news that a new cask ale will make it’s debut at Hopfest 2017?

Farm Yard Ales is a quirky little beer factory situated on a family farm in Rural Lancashire, and after years of hard work and preparation they have recently started producing beer on site for the first time.

Their new cask beer, ‘First Cut,’ will make it’s debut at Hopfest 2017 and we can’t wait to try it out.

First Cut offers up a nice bright golden glow with a hint of tangerine colour. On the nose you get a caramel and slight herbal aroma, on the mouth you get an initial smooth taste followed by a nice amount of bitterness followed by a balanced aftertaste.

This beer has never been seen at a beer festival before so this offers a unique chance for all ale lovers to come down to the festival and try something new.

We now have a full list of cask ales available here – https://www.pgrfc.co.uk/hoppers-beer-festival/cask-ales/.

Last year Hopfest reached capacity which led to having to turn people away from the event. To avoid disappointment we’d recommend buying your tickets in advance which guarantees you entry.
